Every Teacher deserve something more for what they do. They make as much as the guy at Burger King, and that doesn’t nearly sound fair for what they do. Most teachers devote more than 30 years to teaching children, you have to be doing it for children, because the pay is barely enough to live with. Most teachers, if hurt, won’t last more than two month without an income.
Learning about other cultures and different perspectives helps to broaden the mind.
It’s frigging a lot of work and they’re all doing this because they care. They simply deserve more money for all the time they put in, and they also shouldn’t have to spend their own money (which I know most do) to provide supplies and snacks and a lot of other stuff for the classroom.
Children are no soldiers. Teachers are no drill sergants. The school is not the Army. Schools should strenghten children’s self-confidence and teach them to judge what is right and what is wrong. And not just to obey.
